The company differentiates itself by offering a broad, single-provider solution that combines fractional ownership with management, charter, sales, and training, backed by a long history of expanding from pilots to turboprops and jets. Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • PlaneSmart's 2026 site shows active training, charter, and aircraft-management demand.
  • Its Addison operation still advertises a growing fleet and two Texas locations.
  • AeroVanti-linked demand brought PC-12 flying and additional member traffic in 2026.

What critics are saying

  • 2026 reporting ties PlaneSmart to AeroVanti founder Patrick Britton-Harr after his fraud conviction.
  • That association threatens lender trust, insurer terms, and charter customer demand immediately.
  • AeroVanti's prosecution and alleged $15 million fraud create existential reputational contamination risk.

What makes PlaneSmart! Aviation unique

  • PlaneSmart! combines fractional ownership, charter, training, and management from Addison, Texas.
  • Its 2026 website repositions PlaneSmart as a fintech platform for business aviation payments.
  • The company still markets access to pistons, turboprops, jets, and leaseback aircraft.
