Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Data Engineers and Software Engineers, providing guidance on career growth and technical best practices
  • Drive the technical vision and strategy for the data platform, including architecture, tool selection, and process optimization
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud data infrastructure
  • Ensure the team upholds high-quality standards by participating in code reviews, defining release processes, and monitoring system performance
  • Collaborate with engineering managers and senior leaders to align team goals with company objectives
  • Manage a roadmap, balance technical debt with new feature development, and report on team progress and impact
  • Be an active member of the on-call rotation to support League’s infrastructure and ensure system availability and integrity
