Requirements
  • Twenty (20) years general experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Minimum five (5) years experience managing development programs of $10M+
  • Experience managing contracts with US Government customers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with earned value management systems
  • Familiarity with US trade compliance policies (ITAR, EAR)
  • Systems engineering experience, especially requirements management and verification/validation
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or related field
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance; active TS/SCI is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-disciplined technical teams in the design, fabrication, and checkout of cryogenic test systems
  • Ensure completion of project tasks on time and within budget
  • Ensure system designs meet all technical requirements
  • Support line managers in employee development by providing performance feedback, growth opportunities within the program, and mentoring
  • Interface with internal and external customers and other stakeholders
  • Establish and implement execution plans that address performance, schedule, budget, staffing, and resources
  • Provide periodic status of cost, schedule, and technical progress
  • Ensure timely procurement and manufacturing of system components
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities
