Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that aligns with safety standards.
  • Must complete a satisfactory background check and drug screen.
  • Must have one year of applicable experience in at least one of commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or commercial HVAC.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Must maintain a good driving record.
  • Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Must be able to perform repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.
  • Must be able to work an on-call weekend rotation and in high-temperature environments.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking kitchen equipment, commercial refrigeration equipment, or HVAC systems.
  • Communicate repair status updates with customers and the branch office.
  • Communicate parts orders with the branch.
  • Complete service calls accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
  • Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to company standards and safety requirements.
  • Meet on-call requirements.
  • Travel extensively each day to work-site locations.
  • Work around hot grease from fryers and in overheated kitchens and rooftops.
Desired Qualifications
  • Automotive, electrical, installation, or mechanical background.
  • Journeyman license.
  • CFESA certification.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
