- Ensure alignment with required delivery dates and customer-specific delivery guidelines.
- Communicate with carriers, warehouse operations, and customer service to confirm load details and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Monitor in-transit loads, ensuring on-time performance and proactively addressing delays or accessorial issues.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for load execution and scheduling questions.
- Maintain accurate shipment data in transportation management systems and supporting systems such as FourKites, Tracktik, and SAP.
- Validate bills of lading, appointment confirmations, and proof-of-delivery documents.
- Ensure compliance with company standard operating procedures, carrier contracts, and customer routing guides.
- Track key performance indicators such as on-time pickup and delivery, cost per load, and tender acceptance.
- Analyze trends to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Support carrier performance reviews and logistics optimization initiatives.
- Knowledge of electronic data interchange processes, carrier portals, and digital visibility tools such as FourKites and Project44.
- Familiarity with regional carrier networks and warehouse operations.
