\nCore Custody engineering in WM is responsible to support the critical functions of managing clients' assets like ledger maintenance, trade processing, asset transfers, corporate actions, cash management and interest calculations. As part of a multi-year initiative to stream-line these functions and workflows for clients, sales teams and operations, we are investing in a huge platform uplift and are looking for strong server side developers to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for end to end application development working directly with the key stakeholders of all the functions across global teams.

\n Act as a hands-on developer to build the next generation engineering solutions. Working in concert with a global team, the successful candidate will design and develop a robust and responsive user experience using Java with Spring Boot as the backend. Development will follow an agile methodology and deliverables will include automated tests and documentation. Developers will be challenged to bring new ideas, best practices, and a strong commitment to quality.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Associate: 2+ years of experience
\n• Analytical skills to perform technical and functional analysis with strong communication skills
\n • Experience with the following backend technologies: Java, Spring, RESTful Services, Junit, SQL/document data stores

Preferred Qualifications
\n • Experience with the following technologies: Sybase/MongoDB, Kafka, Spring, RX Java
