OneLocal is looking to hire a Freelance Website Coordinator (contractor) on a short-contract basis to assist in the coordination and creation of new client sites.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage and maintain websites across multiple CMSs including Squarespace, Wix, Wordpress as well as HTML/CSS3 websites
• Perform QA on websites
• Complete change requests in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining our quality standards
• Identify blockers in site build process such as login credentials and DNS record
• Managing day-to-day operations of content tasks including building, strategizing and improving
• Analyzing and assessing client’s digital content
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance to everything that leaves our department
• Create website shells using templates selected by client

What You Bring

• Has previous experience working with various CMS (Wordpress, Wix, and Squarespace)
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PHP proficiency (nice to have)
• An understanding of design fundamentals and user experience
• Able to create compelling websites from inception to completion
• Detail oriented, strong organizational skills with ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision
• Organizing a large number of tasks
• You’ve got a process-oriented mindset
• Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to give feedback
• Understanding of content systems and strategies
• Experience in developing SEO strategies is an asset
• Experience working with a high volume of diverse elements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing timelines and priorities
• Experience working with website performance testing tools is an asset
