Distribution/Logistics Analyst - Remote

To streamline our global supply chain and improve manufacturing processes and technology, SBD has launched large-scale, Global Supply Chain Optimization (GSCO) initiatives. Most of these initiatives involve reconfiguring our Global Supply Chain. Discovering and solving what needs to be changed, as well as implementing these changes, will be in scope.
The GSCO Logistics Analyst will support Distribution Footprint move projects in all phases including Discovery, Gap Analysis, Planning, Training, Change Management, and Implementation. Knowledge base will include critical understanding of Warehouse Management fundamentals. Strong influencing skills with the ability to drive & communicate change to senior leadership, IT partners, Business Process Owners, and Key Stakeholders.
The GSCO Distribution Analyst must:
- Be a Distribution Operations & Systems subject matter expert
- Provide focused support for end-to-end processes and technology relative to GSCO initiatives and the global impacts thereof.
- Connect teams to reduce duplicate efforts and close gaps
- Document, track, and close change management topics
- Develop professionally through operational business process improvement and implementation
- Facilitate significant transformation projects
- Develop standard work instructions to ensure sustainable & repeatable processes for long-term project success
- Exposure to a global distribution network stocking a wide range of SBD products
- Fast paced & agile environment driving adaptive supply chain model
- Improve breadth of knowledge through cross-functional teamwork and process integration
- Hone communication and interpersonal skills across global regions and cultures
More Responsibilities:
- Business & IT point of contact for Logistics FP with order-to-cash focus
- Maintain task list/status of tasks in scope for leadership based on business-approved requirements documentation
- Identify systems and processes in scope for Logistics FP moves for order-to-cash (Sales order, distribution, shipment, & invoicing)
- Develop and refine playbooks of key project tasks
- Prepare report outs to GSCO & business leadership
- Develop & document standard work relative to the 3PL operations model
- Drive Supply Chain data and process integrity policies cross-functionally
- Aid in developing or editing process documentation – DeepHow/PDF Docs
- Understand customer-specific compliance requirements
- Good understanding of country-specific compliance requirements
- Provide analytical support relative to Logistics FP projects (Inbound pallet projections – redirecting from port to site X)
- Maintain/provide daily inventory, shipment, & productivity reporting
- Act as change agent for system enhancements required by the business
- Perform system testing to ensure accurate WMS flow
- Identify and escalate potential issues to project team leadership
Who You Are
- Advanced understanding of ERPs, reporting, and Warehouse Management systems
- Detail-oriented with an eye to the strategic end goal
- Experience with Supply Chain transformation projects required
- Ability to work independently, and effectively in a team
- Establish constructive relationships across the organization
- Understanding of integration points with other Supply Chain functions
- Project management experience is a plus
- Builds and maintains strong professional partnerships
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills. High level of enthusiasm and a passion for excellence. Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus.
