Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth region and beyond.
  • Develop pipelines for student internships, and career placements.
  • Represent the HCA program at industry events, networking functions, and community initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for faculty to engage in applied research, consulting, or project partnerships with healthcare industry stakeholders.
  • Serve as the program’s primary liaison to external partners in the healthcare field.
  • Collaborate with HCA faculty and the Program Director to develop and refine curriculum with industry input.
  • Stay current with healthcare trends and workforce needs to ensure program relevance and innovation.
  • Support planning and execution of professional development activities, immersion experiences, and employer engagement events.
  • Facilitate the involvement of healthcare leaders in guest lectures, panel discussions, and mentorship activities.
  • Teach face-to-face, hybrid, and online graduate courses in the HCA program (2-3 courses per semester).
  • Work closely with students and alumni to expand access to career resources and networking opportunities.
  • Guide students in preparing for professional success through industry insights, resume review, and career readiness initiatives.
  • Partner with career services, alumni relations, and faculty to track outcomes and strengthen employer connections.

  • Prior experience working with graduate students or in an academic setting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare workforce trends and leadership development pathways.
