Requirements
  • The candidate should have a certain level of knowledge and experience in some of the followings:
  • The Gigabit transceiver blocks of the Xilinx 7-series and Ultrascale FPGAs,
  • The good practice in developing FPGA code regarding clock distribution, synchronous logic and internal block memories,
  • The basics of I/Os and power requirements of various families of FPGAs,
  • The concept of correction or compensation algorithms,
  • The concept of data processing and saving the resulting parameters into memory,
  • Serial communication protocols such as I2C and SPI,
  • DDR4 memory controller implementation,
  • Machine Vision standards such as CameraLink and CLHS,
  • Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSoC.
Responsibilities
  • Designing FPGA code in Xilinx Vivado environment for our new projects with Ultrascale and 7-series FPGAs, etc.,
  • Contributing to the FPGA architectural design of our products,
  • Participating in schematic design reviews,
  • Debugging and maintaining FPGA code in Xilinx IDE and Intel (Altera) Quartus environments for our old products,
  • Defining register maps for the external microcontroller to control the FPGA logic,
  • Documenting FPGA design in detail,
  • Holding FPGA design review meetings.
