The Finance Operations Associate will support the finance team’s engagement with fundraising surrogates, communications, outreach, materials, and organization. Specifically, they will spearhead the correspondence program for donors and surrogates. They will also be responsible for tracking logistics, booking travel, and editing briefing memos for surrogates. This position will work closely with the National Finance Director and Deputy National Finance Director as well as the regional finance teams. This position is housed within the Finance Department’s Operations Team and will report directly to the Finance Operations Manager.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Manage the team’s correspondence program for both donors and surrogates;
- Write, track, and respond to donor and surrogate correspondence;
- Engage with surrogates and donors in a friendly, responsive, and professional manner;
- Assist with finance surrogate logistics. This will include tracking logistics, booking travel, briefing memos, etc.;
- Provide back up support for the call time program; and,
- Travel when needed for DNC meetings and events (5-10 days per year).

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience;
- 1-2 years of committee, government, non-profit, or campaign finance experience.
Salary: The starting salary for the Finance Operations Associate position is $48,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position is eligible for overtime wages and is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU local-500.
This position requires up to 15% travel both in the Washington, D.C. area and across the country to attend and support meetings and events.
This is an HQ based position with an end date of November 15, 2024.
