An experienced engineering team leader who can easily translate and communicate high-level technical requirements/problems with our Chief Technology Officer, Chief Architect, and/or Chief Strategy Officer to develop new business opportunities

10 years of experience as a Program Manager in managing programs, projects, and/or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
A PMP, FAC-P/PM Senior Level, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 2 certification in Program Management
At least a year of demonstrated experience in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms (e.g., Cost Plus Award Fee Programs, Earned Value Management)
Experience managing software engineering programs
Has established and grown existing customer relationships and programs through responsiveness to customer needs, sustained excellence in program execution, and active engagement in the DoD/IC
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills and is proficient at giving presentations to customers and corporate leadership

Responsibilities

Leading a small business Prime contract, in a desirable and convenient location, alongside your ClearEdge PMO team and other highly skilled management staff
Leading a team of smart engineering talent that provides software development support to the complete array of mission requirements
Building relationships with new customers and stakeholders to demonstrate confidence in our ability to quickly deliver capabilities
Maintaining and growing agile high-performing delivery teams that continue to exceed our customer expectations
Leading small to mid-sized proposal volumes through the life cycle, preparing for award, and executing new and existing requirements within contract schedule and cost constraints
Communicating daily with ClearEdge's responsive corporate leadership team to ensure that you have the resources for successful execution
Performing high level requirements analysis, developing schedules with milestones, and working with our program control team to develop costing models against requirements
Ensuring the team effectively executes within cost, schedule, and scope constraints
Providing timely and quality delivery of risk management, program status, quality assurance, financial, and status reports

Your mission: Enable the success of multi-talented engineering teams and key stakeholders as they develop and support operational capabilities across existing prime contracts.

If you are a practical, results-oriented Program Manager who thrives on enabling technical staff as they undertake tough mission challenges, this is the job for you. In particular, we are looking for a technical Program Manager to work with mission and industry partners to demonstrate the immediate, mid-term, and long-term impacts that our technical solutions can make to our nation’s security. If you enjoy working directly with your technical staff, this is the perfect position for you! This position requires flexibility as we continue to diversify and grow our business footprint on existing prime contracts and position ourselves for future related work. You should be prepared to participate in proposal activities, as needed. The ideal candidate has experience with the full project lifecycle and communicates effectively up, down, and across the management chain. This is a hands-on position, which requires completing contract status and planning deliverables, communicating and meeting with customers, maintaining effective processes, managing the daily tasks of a program, managing staff, interviewing candidates, and much more. We require a Program Manager that can be bid as a key resource with 10+ years of program and project management experience, bachelor’s degree in a technical or management field, PMP or DAWIA level II certification, and TS/SCI clearance with CI and/or FS polygraph.

What we are expecting from you:
