  • Desire to quickly become adept in IT and cybersecurity operations
  • An automation and efficiency mindset - the desire to eradicate low-value, low-intelligence tasks and use modern automation and integration tools effectively and safely
  • The ability to progress multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently over a period of days, keeping stakeholders of the task informed and proactively engaging others to resolve blocks to resolution
  • Be technically adept but with an open and objective approach to problems - there is always a better way!
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
  • Be comfortable with UpGuard's tenet of 'radical candor' - honesty with respect, and the confidence to advance your own ideas, diplomatically
  • Prior role with technical ownership/responsibility for a portfolio of enterprise SaaS and integrations flows between systems such as HRIS/HCM, Enterprise Identity Provider (particularly Okta, Google Identity), and other enterprise core/productivity SaaS (Google Workspace)
  • Relevant information technology and security certifications, including platform certifications from Google, Microsoft, AWS, etc
  • A strong grounding in the cybersecurity domain, particularly in Identity and Access and end-user compute management and control including MDM
  • Experience in enterprise teams, particularly with internal customers
  • Experience, and evidence of a voracious interest, in cybersecurity
Responsibilities
  • Shared responsibility with the IT Operations Manager in APAC for maintaining central technology services in a healthy optimised and performant state, including core SaaS, integration flows, end-user compute, communications (messaging and telephony), networking (VPN)
  • Perform daily/weekly/periodic IT operations and hygiene tasks such as processing and resolving operational alerts, and maintaining information assets such as SaaS configurations, device asset inventories etc
  • Provide second/third level support on workforce requests for advice and assistance across UpGuard's productivity and other core tools, including SaaS, end-user devices, connectivity, device, and connectivity security
  • Assist with activating new UpGuard workers in EMEA and US
  • Shared responsibility in driving the continuous improvement of enterprise technology and security processes and tooling, particularly in the integrations and automation that will remove low-value activities and improve workflow accuracy and velocity
  • Work closely with all other departments and teams when needed
  • Continuously improve the whole information technology substrate, as well as the enterprise's technology risk and compliance state, such as generating self-service learning and awareness content
