Requirements
- Compensation Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of compensation data, market trends, and benchmarks to determine the competitiveness of our compensation packages
- Job Evaluation: Evaluate and assign job classifications, salary ranges, and compensation structures based on job responsibilities, market data, and internal equity
- Salary surveys: Participate in and manage compensation surveys to gather external market data and ensure our compensation remains competitive
- Compensation Planning: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement compensation plans, including base pay, incentives, and bonuses
- Compliance: Ensure that all compensation programs and practices align with relevant laws and regulations
- Communication: Assist in the development and delivery of compensation-related communication to employees
- Policy Development: Assist in the development and maintenance of compensation policies and procedures
- Analytics: Use data and analytics to generate insights and reports for senior leadership
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors, such as compensation survey providers and software vendors as needed
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with best practices in compensation and contribute to the continuous improvement of compensation programs
- Other duties as assigned
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, human resources or a directly related field required
- A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
- Strong understanding of compensation principles, practices, and regulations
- Demonstrated knowledge of compensation software and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of pay transparency in California
- Experience creating and maintaining salary structures
- Advanced skills with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines, goals and objectives, develop skills and knowledge of others, build capacity and productivity of department
- Ability to analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources, apply critical and creative thinking to draw conclusions, and develop solutions to complex problems
- Knowledge of standard accounting and/or budgeting principles and the ability to monitor and manage budgets within established limits, analyze financial data and draw accurate conclusions
- Proactive delivery of communication and follow-up
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
- May require up to 25% of international and domestic travel
- Self-motivated and forward-thinking personality
- CCP certification highly preferred
