Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience setting up continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines with open-source plugin integrations is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in DevOps, Agile, and Scrum environments and development is required.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with configuration management, cloud orchestration, and automation tools in Amazon Web Services environments is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Amazon Web Services cloud environments is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience identifying and implementing automation for continuous integration and continuous deployment is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience writing infrastructure as code using Terraform is required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance is required.
  • Candidates must reside in the United States, be authorized to work in the United States, and perform all work within the United States.
  • Candidates must have lived in the United States for at least three of the last five years.
  • The role requires outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Implement cloud-based solutions in Amazon Web Services using infrastructure as code.
  • Deploy, configure, and operate infrastructure configurations for Amazon Web Services services using infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
  • Engage with technical stakeholders across application development, networking, infrastructure, information security, risk, enterprise identity and access management, and security operations.
  • Enable and optimize automation of application and infrastructure environments.
  • Collaborate with the team to build cloud infrastructure using Amazon Machine Images, containers, and serverless functions.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for features, fixes, and system updates across development, integration, and production environments.
  • Set up, integrate, and maintain a scalable and stable set of continuous integration and continuous delivery tools for development, testing, and security scanning.
  • Implement Amazon CloudWatch, Splunk, and other third-party monitoring solutions to continuously monitor systems, infrastructure, performance, application errors, and aggregated metrics.
  • Analyze functional and non-functional business requirements, translate them into technical operational requirements, and propose continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines with tools and plugins.
  • Design and implement automated monitoring capabilities that generate dashboards, trends, useful messages, immediate notifications, and real-time metrics using Splunk or similar services.
  • Perform approximately 5% travel.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Java software development.
  • Experience with Datadog.
  • Working knowledge of Linux.
  • Knowledge of multi-account architecture using AWS Control Tower, service control policies, GuardRails, and Transit Gateways.
  • Broad technology experience that may include cloud architecture, cloud migrations, application development, networking, security, storage, analytics, or machine learning.
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification.
  • Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, and Common Criteria regulations and standards.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, the machine learning lifecycle, and products such as Amazon SageMaker, Apache Airflow, Looker, and Trifacta.
