Ohio Living is a large not-for-profit senior-services network in Ohio that operates 11 life plan communities offering a continuum of care from independent living to skilled nursing, plus home health and hospice through Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice. Residents fund care through fees and donations, with all revenue reinvested back into programs rather than distributed to shareholders. The Life Care Commitment guarantees that no resident will be asked to leave if they exhaust their funds in good faith. The organization coordinates care with partner health systems and operates a provider-owned Medicare Advantage plan to improve outcomes, all within a Christian-based nonprofit model.
