Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant experience on complex experiments with a focus on rapid prototyping
  • Previous experience with measurement and diagnostic sensors
  • Experience with optical fibers and optical components
  • Familiar working with common measurement equipment
  • Experience in fabrication, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repair, deployment, operation, and maintenance
  • Able to perform PCB soldering and assembly
  • Hands-on experience with electric hand tools and basic fabrication tools
  • Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
  • Track record of solving complex problems
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with and lead other technicians to construct test setups
  • Fabricate, assemble, integrate, calibrate, test, and repair hardware components
  • Installation of control systems and plasma diagnostic sensors
  • Communicate project activity, status, and issues
  • Create and maintain documentation
  • Maintain and develop inventory of consumables and parts
