Requirements
  • Masters in Physician Assistant related studies
  • NYS PA Licensure
  • Current NCCPA Certification
  • ACLS/BLS
  • NYS Infection Control certification
  • DEA Certification with NYS Opioid Prescriber training compliance
Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of clinical PAs (maintain schedules, performance evaluations, training, etc.)
  • Collaborate with department administrators, physician leaders, the Chief PA Surgery, and the Director of PA Services in the strategic growth of their departments
  • Perform clinical duties
Desired Qualifications
  • At least five years of experience as a PA with progressively increasing experience in hospital or healthcare leadership
  • History of surgical experience
  • Active and engaged members of state and national PA organizations (ie: committee or Board participation)
