Responsibilities

This is a remote role
Understand requirements, look at the requirements, and determine an implementation plan
Responsible for more complex bug fixes and debugging more complex tasks
Understand how infrastructure and code influence and/or impact each other
Work closely with senior developers to train and develop
Integrate APIs and 3rd party solutions into the codebase
Implement the customized solution which has been designed by more senior-level developers/technical leads/technical architects
Identify upper environment issues
Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively to meet our delivery expectations
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot new and existing web applications

Summary

The Software Engineer, Backend is an independent problem solver who can also work well on a team. In this role, the Software Engineer, Backend will create things, and expand your knowledge and skillset by learning new technologies and methods. You don’t shy away from complex problems, but you’re also not afraid to ask for help. You will be responsible for the day-to-day development and maintenance of our backend services and infrastructure. You will take on new feature development from conception to completion, as well as maintaining and improving existing services.
