Requirements
  • Experience working with children is required in the sense that the role involves supervising and caring for children aged 4–11.
  • Ability to run activities and manage a group of children.
  • Ability to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, Children's Barred List Check, and suitability checks.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and the safety and wellbeing of children.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver age-appropriate activities such as multi-sports, arts and crafts, group games, and creative play.
  • Set up engaging play spaces and keep them safe and clean.
  • Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
  • Prepare snacks and manage sign-in and sign-out processes.
  • Work split shifts from 7:30–9:00 a.m. and 3:00–6:00 p.m.
  • Take the lead when needed during club activities.
  • Support children aged 4–11 in Breakfast and After School Clubs.
  • Undertake online searches if shortlisted as part of safeguarding and due diligence procedures.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work.
