Neuberger Berman’s technology team is looking for a hands-on Lead Developer with strong database and data pipeline development experience to join NB Business Technology. You will work with team members to design and implement end-to-end business solutions for various business teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 2-3 developers in designing and developing solutions for Investment and Risk teams
Work closely with members of the project team and various business and technology stakeholders to understand business problems and current state processes
Responsible for architecture & solution design and implementation.
Manage Scrum & backlog for application development
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner
Requirements:
Must demonstrate strong tech lead experience including conducting technical design, product delivery, and resource management skills
10+ years of software development experience covering all aspects of SDLC.
Prior experience working with any of these programming languages - Python, or C#/.Net
Prior experience working with MS SQL Server (2016+) for database design and development
Prior experience working with Snowflake a big plus
Working with common data format and parsing methods: YAML, JSON, CSV, XML
Prior experience with any of these Business Intelligence technologies - Tableau, PowerBI, SSRS, Crystal. Tableau a big plus
Experience with Order Management Systems (Aladdin, Charles River) and/or Execution Management System (FlexTrade)
Familiarity with DevOps and the tools commonly utilized in this area. Azure DevOps a big plus
Familiarity with enterprise technology tools: Tidal Enterprise Scheduler (or any other scheduling system), Service Now, JIRA, Confluence
Prior Asset Management or Financial Services experience is a must
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $130,000-$185,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
