Requirements
  • Skill in hands-on processing of semiconductor devices and circuits.
  • Experience with wet chemical etching; RIE/ICP etching; PECVD deposition; metal evaporation; sputtering; and microscope, profilometry, and SEM inspection of wafers is a plus.
  • Processes associated with semiconductor device and IC fabrication.
  • Strong observation, documentation and communication skills.
  • Productivity software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • AS in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related field, OR 3+ years experience in a related field.
  • Must be sufficiently mobile to work within confined spaces and have both visual and hearing acuity.
  • Must be able to work within a class 10 Cleanroom.
  • Must be able to work safely with and around potentially toxic and hazardous materials, chemicals and gases.
  • Good hand eye coordination.
  • Must be able to work with little supervision and be a strong team player.
  • U.S. person.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain security clearances (post-start) is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Perform, develop, and refine fabrication processes.
  • Inspect product at critical steps.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process problems.
  • Work closely with senior technical staff to perform experiments and document experimental findings.
  • Collect and analyze experimental data.
  • Work with unit process engineers in order to fabricate wafer lots and execute experiments.
