Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with GIS technology, specifically in ArcGIS Enterprise architecture, deployment, and administration.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in system, solution, or cloud architecture implementation
  • Familiarity with enterprise database management systems (SQL Server and PostgreSQL) and database replication strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex system integrations and data migrations.
  • Strong understanding of server and desktop virtualization platforms (e.g., Citrix, VMware, Microsoft).
  • Fundamental knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools.
  • Real-world experience supporting customer-facing systems with high uptime requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor peers, delegate tasks, and act as a technical leader within project teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and efficiently prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient system architectures for client and internal projects.
  • Design, implement, migrate, upgrade, troubleshoot, and integrate ArcGIS Enterprise deployments, while monitoring and optimizing performance.
  • Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, technical planning, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to define technical requirements, advise on scope of budget changes, and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the best solutions are implemented.
  • Ensure system integration, data migration, and cloud infrastructure solutions are designed and implemented according to project needs.
  • Participate in agile team activities, including scrums, planning, and review sessions, to maintain alignment and communication.
  • Manage risk identification and mitigation strategies related to system architecture.
  • Facilitate technical solution reviews, providing constructive feedback and leading efforts to resolve technical disputes and make necessary tradeoffs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of system architectures, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Provide technical consulting and support to clients and internal teams, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Design, implement, migrate, upgrade, troubleshoot, and integrate ArcGIS Enterprise deployments, while monitoring and optimizing performance.
Desired Qualifications
  • AWS or other relevant cloud certifications preferred.
