We're looking for a motivated Chief of Staff (m/f/d) to drive strategic execution and operational excellence at one of our Ecosystem Companies.

Join the A11 Ecosystem – our client builds the platform to deploy AI agents across industrial supply chain operations. Their mission: to strengthen Europe's industrial backbone by making operational processes future-proof. The agents automate the purchase order lifecycle end to end, giving companies control over their single largest cost driver. They run on the supply chain context graph – a real-time intelligence layer built from ERP data and the knowledge that today only lives in inboxes and people's heads. Leading industrial enterprises already trust their AI agents to turn procurement into a strategic driver of growth rather than a bottleneck. With $6M in funding from Project A, Speedinvest, Sequoia Scouts, and industry veterans, the company is in production with enterprise customers, scaling rapidly and shipping new features daily.

In this role, you’ll:

• Be the founder force multiplier. When the founders aren't in the room, you are. You carry the context, make the call, keep things moving.
• Build the operating system. Fast companies don't stay fast by accident. You build the cadences, processes, and communication loops that let the company scale without losing its edge – AI-native by default: if a workflow can be automated, you find the way.
• Run the hiring engine. The next 20 hires define the company's long-term trajectory. You build the plan, run the process, and make sure every new hire raises the bar. You close them yourself when it matters.
• Own finances and KPIs. Reporting, budgeting, trajectory – the founders and the board see a clear picture at all times, because you built it.
• Drive strategic projects. New market entry, pricing architecture, agent deployment support, partnership structures – the ambiguous, high-stakes work that doesn't have an owner yet. You take it from zero to done, fast.
• Lead fundraising and investor relations. Data rooms, narratives, investor updates – when the next round happens, you've already built the engine.

Your Profile: 

• 2+ years in high-intensity environments: top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, a VC-backed startup that moved fast, or a founder who built something real. You've seen what excellent looks like under pressure.
• Ruthlessly structured. You bring order to chaos – not by slowing things down, but by building systems that make speed sustainable.
• Strategy meets spreadsheet. You can zoom out to market positioning in the morning and grind through a financial model in the afternoon. P&L, SaaS metrics, unit economics: you speak the language deeply.
• Sharp communicator. You turn complex AI concepts and messy financial data into narratives that land – board deck, investor update, or team all-hands. You write clearly and think in memos.
• High agency. You write the playbook and dealing with ambiguity is one of your strongest assets. 
• AI-native by default. You use AI tools daily and have a point of view on how a category-defining AI company should operate internally.
• Fluent in English and German (C1+). You can switch from investor conversations one hour to industrial enterprise customer calls the next.
