Data Analytics Internship - Summer 2023, Remote
Job Description:
This Data Analytics Intern will be responsible for supporting our GIC Operations – Unicare team in various projects including but not limited to, quantitative data analytics, business data reporting, and reporting on impact analysis.
This is a 100% remote work opportunity based out of our Massachusetts offices. All applicants will be considered, but applicants based in Massachusetts or surrounding states are preferred. This internship will run for 10 weeks (June 5th-August 11th) on a full-time, or 40 hours per week schedule.
How you will make an impact:
Developing high quality reports and analytics to support ongoing projects and to provide the business with the ability to make data driven decisions
Utilizing data processing tools to analyze large-scale datasets for accuracy and reasonableness
Supporting projects by analyzing data including, but not limited to; provider contracting, modeling, clinical, claims, payment integrity, actuarial, customer service, benefit designs, and impact analysis
Researching and implementing solutions to increase team productivity and efficiency
Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program at an accredited college/university
Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, and Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or related field
Rising Juniors and Seniors are preferred

Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
Ability to solve well defined analytical problems independently
Ability to deliver assignment/projects timely and accurately
Ability to collaborate with team members effectively
Possess a strong intellectual curiosity and motivated to grow knowledge and develop new skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
