Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements short and long-range goals, objectives, and strategies to increase student and community awareness of health profession opportunities and the pathways leading to a successful health care career; increase student and community awareness of specific opportunities at the UT Health Science Center; build and strengthen partnerships with the community and other educational institutions.
  • Serves as a clearing-house of information for potential students seeking information about the UT Health Science Center professional programs, and serves as a unifying entity between individuals conducting science outreach efforts in the five UT Health Science Center schools.
  • Oversees internal and external communications to prospective students and applicants through multiple media methods.
  • Serves as the official liaison between Enrollment Services and other university departments in the development and production of outreach materials and communication.
  • Management duties include interviewing, selecting, and training employees; setting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work; planning and directing work; appraising productivity and efficiency; handling complaints/grievances; and disciplining when necessary.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Strategic Recruitment Planning: Design and implement multi-channel recruitment campaigns aligned with institutional goals and market trends.
  • Marketing Integration: Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling content, digital ads, and social media strategies that resonate with prospective students.
  • Brand Development: Position graduate programs as premier offerings through storytelling, thought leadership, and targeted outreach.
  • Data & Analytics: Use CRM systems and analytics tools to track campaign performance, optimize conversion funnels, and forecast enrollment trends.
  • Partnerships & Outreach: Build relationships with corporate partners, professional associations, and alumni networks to expand recruitment pipelines.
