Position Description:  

Motus is looking for an Invoicing Analyst who will be a core contributor to the Invoicing and Collections Team. This individual is responsible for generating accurate customer invoices and credits on time. The Invoicing Analyst will report to the Manager, Invoicing & Collections.

We are looking for a candidate who can get going quickly. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail and communication skills. You must be a proactive individual who is analytical, organized, and a self-starter. This team member must be committed to collaborating with other members of the Finance team, a critical thinker, and hardworking.

Position Duties:

• Responsible for creating and issuing accurate and timely invoices to customers
• Compile data and generate billing filles to support invoices
• Process credit memos as needed
• Prepare customer statements and accurately explain the account’s activity and balance due
• Research internal and external customer inquiries and provide problem resolution using the most up-to-date information, technology, and resources
• Effectively address customer questions/issues related to billing
• Fully understand the invoicing process and contract terms and their impact on the overall business
• Collaborate with internal terms to address and resolve customer concerns
• Assist in answering inbound calls and emails
• Assist in developing and implementing potential process and system enhancements to create efficiencies
• Assist with collection efforts and ad hoc requests as needed

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Associate's degree in Accounting preferred
• 2 -4 years of accounting experience specializing in billing
• Knowledge of Salesforce and NetSuite
• Knowledge and understanding of the SaaS business model
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure and meet required deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with PC and Microsoft Office applications
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (Familiarity with VLOOKUP and pivot tables a plus)
• Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy
• Capable of adapting to changing environment (i.e., organization, technological, etc.)
• Self-motivated and driven; able to work independently in a remote work environment
• Holds self and others accountable for results

Where required by law, Motus provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The hourly pay range for this role is $24.50 - $27.00 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
