We are looking for a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with other engineering teams, design, operations, and product to deploy new applications, refactor remaining legacy elements, and implement new features for our products. You will also be designing client-side architecture and an engaging user interface for our products as well as implementing a mobile responsive design. This position requires someone who is passionate about front-end technologies, a strong problem-solver, a team collaborator, and has a growth mindset.
Responsibilities:
- First and foremost, develop software solutions that benefit our users
- Collaborate with our business, product, and design teams to create new products.
- Design and implement client-side architecture, including moving monolithic applications into micro-services
- Work in cloud infrastructure to achieve scalability for our products
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures
- Stay on the leading edge of development practices
- Have passion for great technologies, especially open source
- Understand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them
- Make informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of services and applications at scale
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
- Have a team-first and growth mindset with a sense of pride and ownership for what we accomplish
- Grow engineering teams by recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
Requirements:
- 7+ years experience with front-end development in JavaScript
- 5+ years experience building reactive user interfaces in either React.js or Angular
- 3+ years experience working with NodeJS
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JSON
- Experience writing unit tests for JavaScript
- Experience with AWS or GCP technologies and other cloud environments
- Experience with designing infrastructure to solve scalability problems
- Prior experience implementing a mobile responsive design
- Experience providing technical assistance by mentoring others and responding to problems that arise
