The Main Banker plays a crucial role in supporting smooth casino operations by accurately managing cash transactions and maintaining the highest standards of accountability within the cage. Your attention to detail, commitment to security, and ability to deliver efficient and friendly service ensure that both guests and team members receive reliable, professional support. By upholding strict cash‑handling procedures, assisting with daily bank functions, and contributing to a seamless financial flow on the gaming floor, you help create a positive and trustworthy gaming experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Servicing all cashiers and team member exchanges throughout the shift.
• Keeping cash drawer balanced and impressed.
• Completing Currency Transaction Reports, W2G tax forms and multiple transactions logs.
• Accurate record-keeping in all aspects of duties and responsibilities.
• Answering customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Verifying and documenting personal ID information for checks, cash advances, and slot marker transactions.
• Making exchanges with Main bank, Marker bank, and Chip bank.
• Responsible for cashing out customers, giving correct change.
• Become familiar with the casino credit application process.
• Cleaning/washing of chips.

• Ability to
• Effectively communicate

• Complete, perform and understand basic mathematical functions.
• Must be able to distinguish between colors 
• Knowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controls.
• Knowledge in all service areas, front window, marker bank, Chip Bank and main vault.
• Ability to perform assigned job duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment. 
• Flexible work schedule.

Qualifications

Must Haves:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One (1) year cashier or banking experience preferred.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
  • Swing Shift staggered start times between 01:00PM - 06:00PM
  • Grave Shift staggered start times between 08:00PM - 12:00AM
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to:
  • Work at a fast pace in stressful situations.
  • Stand for entire shift.
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs.
  • Stoop, bend, and squat.
• Must be able to work in a location with loud noise and visual distractions.

Working Conditions:

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.

Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.

We encourage Team Members to share their preferred shift availability, and we will strive to accommodate individual scheduling preferences whenever possible and consistent with business needs. Please note that this is a union-represented position and scheduling is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Team Members may be required to participate in shift bids, and shift assignments may change based on operational requirements and Team Member seniority.

Compensation: 16 to 16 (USD)
