Requirements
  • US or Canada (From Home / Beach / Mountain / Cafe / Anywhere!)

  • Strong technical background with 6+ years of experience with web backend
  • Hands-on experience with Ruby
  • Experience as the technical lead or engineering manager for a team of engineers and can demonstrate broad technical leadership
  • An ability to listen well and internalize the best ideas from all over the organization while setting a vision that others are excited to get behind
  • Hands-on experience with working cross-functionally and gaining trust from other engineers and team members
Responsibilities
  • Own the vision, roadmaps, prioritizations, and technical architecture of the payment platform that processes large payment volumes
  • Be hands-on. Write code and participate actively in the code review
  • Understand future technical needs for the product and craft plans to realize them
  • Coach engineers to help them grow personally and professionally
  • Provide day-to-day technical oversight for their team, drive engineering excellence
  • Work with different stakeholders to achieve the business goal
