What you’ll do

This entry-level role is designed to offer real-world, hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate IT environment. The intern will primarily support and gain experience with key Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Intune, and Azure. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about technology and eager to develop their skills in IT infrastructure and application support.

This Intern role is a short term/part-time role located in Southfield, Michigan, and reports to the Infrastructure Applications Manager. Approximately 30 hours a week for the summer; could potentially go longer with 8 – 12 hours a week thereafter. Paid relocation and benefits are not available for this temporary position.

• Provide support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Teams, Exchange, and Intune.
• Assist in the deployment and management of applications in Azure environments.
• Participate in the maintenance and enhancement of IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members on projects to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
• Help document IT processes and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Learn about and assist in the integration of cloud solutions and identity management.
• Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest technology and best practices.

 What you’ll need

• Currently enrolled in an accredited University program
• Genuine interest in and familiarity with Microsoft products such as Teams, Exchange, Intune, and Azure.
• Very good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Core hours are generally 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
• Ability to work in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
