Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering or related fields is required.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and MATLAB is required.
  • Experience with control and simulation tools such as Simulink is required.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, build systems, and version control is required.
  • Demonstrated experience with software requirements and specifications is required.
  • Hands-on experience with image processing or computer vision algorithms and tools is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Responsibilities
  • Lead software development for novel semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including control systems and automation software.
  • Design and implement software for image processing and computer vision applications in semiconductor inspection and metrology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software subsystems.
  • Develop and maintain software requirements, architecture, and documentation.
  • Support procurement and evaluation of equipment subsystems.
  • Participate in research and development activities to advance semiconductor manufacturing capabilities.
  • Perform other related functions as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree or higher in a relevant technical field is preferred.
  • Experience in research or start-up environments is preferred.
  • Prior experience in software development for hardware control and instrumentation is preferred.
  • Experience with image processing libraries such as OpenCV and MATLAB Image Processing Toolbox is preferred.
  • Familiarity with machine vision systems used in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience developing real-time or embedded software systems is preferred.
