  • 1-2 years of previous P&C underwriting experience
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License, preferred
  • High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Well versed in insurance coverages, policies and guidelines
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient to knowledge of Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
  • Reviewing carrier renewals and related carrier interaction
  • Assists the Director of Underwriting by gathering account and historical data and preparing and sending out Request for Proposals
  • Reviewing proposals received for accuracy
  • Maintain knowledge of current insurance market trends, conditions, competitive intelligence, and product and service innovations
  • Ability to interact collaboratively and collegially with colleagues and clients in a professional manner
