Requirements
  • Mature and personal Christian faith
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
  • Experience working cross culturally and with preliterate and/or non-native English speakers
  • Flexibility and desire to learn and serve others
  • Ability to read and write proficiently in English
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and with diverse groups of people
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to Gap services, directing questions to the appropriate personnel
  • Provide comprehensive information about the Gap Services Track and its objectives to internal staff and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate housing assistance, direct financial assistance, immigrant legal services (ILS), outreach, and workshops as part of Gap Services
  • Ensure strict compliance with funding regulations and guidelines, particularly regarding the allowable activities for PC populations
  • Collaborate closely with other departments and stakeholders to identify and address client needs effectively
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and records of Gap Services activities and client interactions
  • Participate actively in training sessions and meetings to stay abreast of program policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Organize and facilitate topical workshops efficiently
  • Empower participants to achieve their goals through skill-building and access to resources
  • Make timely internal and external referrals as appropriate
  • Enroll clients into PC GAPS and ensure all information is accurately updated in a secure database, conducting quality checks as necessary
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervising manager
