Requirements
  • B.A/B.S or equivalent highly preferred
  • Executive level experience, being strategic and tactical
  • Proven management experience in farming services (more than 10 years of relevant experience)
  • Hands-on approach

Responsibilities
  • Take the lead identifying and lining up pilot customers and locations based on business objectives
  • Help create guidelines for future projects and convert pilot customers to ongoing customers generating revenue for the company
  • Work closely with the engineering team to outline pilot and requirements, schedules and timelines, and collaborate to set up milestones for achieving testing and pilot success
  • Deliver, measure, and evaluate value of providing farming services through testing and pilots to commercialization
  • Capture learnings and evolve processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of paid pilot program and staging of pilots
  • Hire and manage an expanded Agtonomy field operations team as well and expand pilot participants and customers on using the equipment, services, etc.
  • Create training material for all customers on how to use the Agtonomy services including working with engineering to create any custom tools needed for training
  • Identify next generation offering of data capture and analysis and new service opportunities
  • In partnership with the business team, calculate farmer ROI and develop pricing and model that supports customer needs and drives Agtonomy’s business
  • Collaborate across internal product, technology, operations and marketing teams
  • Define and promote best practices in risk mitigation and safety
  • Communicate and share updates with key stakeholders
