Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Administration, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure, including GCC High environments.
  • Experience deploying and supporting database workloads in Azure.
  • Expertise in database performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and secure database architecture in regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting regulated or government cloud environments; GCC High experience is preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with Azure architecture and services, including infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, networking, and storage.
  • Strong familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, or CMMC frameworks.
  • Understanding of environments subject to audit, compliance, or Sarbanes-Oxley-related controls.
  • At least 5 years of experience in database administration, cloud engineering, or related roles.
Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
  • Design and implement database structures, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Support and manage systems within a Microsoft Azure GCC High environment.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure supporting database workloads.
  • Ensure alignment with FedRAMP, NIST, and CMMC-aligned requirements.
  • Implement and maintain secure cloud architectures, including encryption, network security, and access controls.
  • Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams on Azure governance, policies, and compliance controls.
  • Integrate databases with financial systems, reporting platforms, and enterprise resource planning environments.
  • Support data accuracy, reporting workflows, and audit readiness.
  • Assist in maintaining systems that support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting financial systems, enterprise resource planning platforms, or accounting and reporting environments.
  • Experience with financial platforms, pension systems, or benefits administration environments.
  • Exposure to data warehousing, business intelligence tools, or analytics platforms.
  • Experience working within multi-domain environments, including integration with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with identity and access considerations in GCC High environments.
  • Experience supporting Sarbanes-Oxley-controlled environments or public company reporting structures.
  • Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications with a Government or GCC High focus.
  • Oracle Database Administrator certification.
  • Security or compliance certifications.

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. - July 27, 2026 - Maverc Technologies has been awarded a multi-year cybersecurity risk assessment contract by the Maryland Judiciary's Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC). The engagement supports the Judiciary's ongoing commitment to securing its information systems and strengthening operational resilience. The Maryland Judiciary is the third branch of Maryland state government and operates one of the nation's largest unified court systems, serving trial, appellate, and administrative functions across the state. Its Administrative Office of the Courts provides centralized technology, security, and operational support for judicial facilities and the digital infrastructure that connects courts, clerks, and public services statewide. Protecting that infrastructure is essential to preserving public trust, ensuring the continuity of justice, and safeguarding sensitive court and citizen information.
