- One year of related experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic personal computer navigation skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
- Receive items for shipment from departments and incoming merchandise from outside vendors for delivery throughout the hospital in accordance with established procedures.
- Deliver supplies or reports in accordance with established procedures.
- Check stock of items throughout the hospital as required.
- Load or stack skids or delivery trucks with merchandise or reports for delivery to respective locations.
- Deliver shipments to the appropriate department and obtain signatures as required.
- Deliver supplies and materials by pushing or pulling a cart or hand truck to assigned areas.
- Unload supplies at the point of delivery.
- Maintain a delivery log recording delivery times and submit it to appropriate department personnel as required.
- Use computer systems to input or retrieve information when needed.
- Valid driver's license.
