Inovalon and OMNY Health have launched a linked real-world dataset combining Inovalon's closed claims data with OMNY Health's electronic health record data and clinical notes. The dataset includes 248 million lives in closed claims, 175 million lives in EHR data, and over 7 billion clinical notes, with more than 40% of lives linked across sources. The partnership aims to give researchers and life sciences organisations a comprehensive view of disease progression, treatment patterns, and outcomes. Closed claims provide longitudinal visibility into care utilisation and costs, whilst EHR data adds clinical depth including medical history, test results, and disease-specific markers. The dataset supports research across therapeutic areas, particularly complex conditions like Alzheimer's disease. As part of the collaboration, Inovalon has made an undisclosed strategic investment in OMNY Health.
Building an AI lead scoring system that boosted conversion by 70%. Your marketing engine is generating leads, but how do you know which ones are actually worth handing to sales? That is the question at the heart of this episode, and it is one that gets harder to answer the bigger your funnel gets. My guest is Nick Panayi, a technology marketing veteran who most recently led marketing at Inovalon. If you listened to its episode with Nick last year, you know he has spent his career at the intersection of marketing and AI. This time he is back to walk me through something he built with his partner Chris Marin: an AI-powered lead scoring system that moved his team's MQL-to-opportunity conversion rate from 10 percent to 17 percent in a single quarter. That is a 70 percent improvement in lead conversion. Health Launchpad LLC get into why traditional lead scoring has not really changed since marketing automation platforms first showed up, and why that single-dimensional approach creates false positives and quietly erodes trust between marketing and sales. Nick breaks down how his team combined ten different signals, from individual behavior to ICP alignment to lookalike modeling, into one dynamic score built on a self-improving Bayesian model. Health Launchpad LLC also talk about the part I think matters most for actually getting sales to act: pairing every score with a plain-language, AI-generated synopsis that tells the rep exactly why the lead matters and how to open the conversation. If you are a CMO or VP of marketing trying to get sales to actually believe in your leads, this episode gives you a real blueprint, along with Nick's honest take on what it takes to get started even if you do not have a full AI team in-house. Key topics covered. * "(00:00)" Welcome and introduction * "(05:00)" Nick's background * "(06:00)" Why traditional lead scoring has not changed in years * "(09:00)" The specific problems with lead scoring * "(12:00)" Multivariate AI platform scoring * "(15:00)" Turning complex scoring data into a single AI generated synopsis * "(17:00)" Why recency and lead quality together drive better conversion * "(19:00)" How the project actually got built * "(21:00)" The result * "(23:00)" A real example of a counterintuitive lead score * "(25:00)" The value of being able to reconstruct a full deal story * "(27:00)" Nick's one piece of advice for a CMO who wants to get started next week * "(31:00)" Adam's five key takeaways from the conversation If you are interested in discussing this or any other topic, let's have a chat. Inovalon's "Sip Sustainably" Challenge turns everyday Reuse Into a company-wide sustainability movement. At Inovalon, sustainability started with a simple idea: reducing the use of single-use cups in the workplace. Looking for an engaging way to encourage more sustainable habits, the team partnered with Fill it Forward to launch the Sip Sustainably Challenge, inviting associates to swap disposable cups and bottles for reusable alternatives while tracking their impact through the Fill it Forward app. What began as a simple effort to reduce waste quickly evolved into a company-wide sustainability movement that united associates across offices in the United States and India through friendly competition, measurable impact, and shared purpose. Building a Culture Around Small Actions Inovalon recognized that sustainability becomes more meaningful when employees can actively participate and see the results of their actions in real time. By partnering with Fill it Forward, they transformed everyday moments - like reusing a water bottle during a meeting - into opportunities to create collective impact. The challenge encouraged associates to ditch disposable cups and bottles while tracking their reuse habits through Fill it Forward Stickers the Inovalon team distributed. Teams rallied around the initiative, turning sustainability into an engaging experience that connected employees across offices and regions. "Partnering with Fill it Forward helped Inovalon turn a simple shift away from single-use cups into a meaningful, company-wide sustainability movement. Through our 'Sip Sustainably' initiative, associates across the U.S. and India engaged in friendly competition, drove measurable impact, and built pride around small actions adding up to real change. Fill it Forward's mission, ease of use, and data-driven storytelling made it a natural partner aligned with our core values." Maggie Collins, Director of Sustainability and Workplace Services Turning Reuse Into Measurable Impact The results of the Sip Sustainably Challenge show how consistent, everyday reuse can create significant environmental and social outcomes. Together, Inovalon associates achieved: Beyond the numbers, the initiative created excitement and pride among employees, reinforcing the idea that sustainability is most powerful when it becomes part of everyday workplace culture. Sustainability That Engages Employees Inovalon's success highlights an important shift happening across workplaces today: employees want to participate in sustainability efforts, not just hear about them. By combining reusable products, impact tracking, and purpose-driven engagement, Inovalon created an experience that made sustainability visible, measurable, and rewarding for their teams. Their Sip Sustainably initiative demonstrates how organizations can turn small daily actions into a larger movement that supports environmental goals, strengthens workplace culture, and inspires participation across the company. Creating Change Together At Fill it Forward, Fill it Forward believe meaningful change starts with simple acts of reuse. Inovalon's leadership and employee engagement exemplify what's possible when organizations empower people to take small actions consistently. Fill it Forward is proud to recognize Inovalon as a 2025 Fill it Forward Changemaker Award winner in the Employee Engagement category - celebrating organizations that empower employees through wellness initiatives, sustainability programs, and purpose-driven engagement.
