Senior Staff Accountant Overview:
BPM is looking for a motivated, self-starter to join their internal finance team. The Senior Staff Accountant will work closely with the Senior Staff Accountant, Accounting Manager, and work across all departments including, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll to help facilitate and maintain accurate financial records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·Preparation and posting of recurring and month-end journal entries
·Assistance in month-end closing procedures, including account reconciliation
·Review current processes and offer suggestions for improvement and/or additions
·Oversee Daily Cash and Month End Bank Reconciliation
·Assist in preparation of fiscal and calendar year-end financial reporting
·Assist with Annual 1099 Reporting
·Maintain Fixed Assets System
·Assist with filing Annual Property Taxes for all offices
Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s in Accounting
·3-4 years of accounting experience
·Proficient in Excel and other MS Office Programs
·Attention to detail.
·Excellent problem-solving skills
·Able to maintain confidential information.
·Positive attitude
