ConsumerAffairs helps consumers make informed choices about products and services by providing a platform for reading reviews, comparing rates, and accessing expert advice on topics like home warranties and mortgages. The platform does not process loan applications or make credit decisions; instead, it connects users with licensed lenders and service providers. This approach differentiates ConsumerAffairs from direct lenders and mortgage brokers. The company earns revenue through affiliate marketing and lead generation, allowing it to offer its services for free to consumers. The goal of ConsumerAffairs is to empower everyday consumers with reliable information and recommendations for significant financial decisions.
