Requirements
- Associate degree in accounting
- 3+ years of related experience
- English language skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with large ERP system such as Netsuite
- Customer service oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- Experience with Procure to Pay systems
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain vendor master records
- Ensure that invoices are approved in accordance with company policy
- Enter invoices into Netsuite and ensure that invoices are correctly coded using Company's chart of accounts and department listing
- Perform Month end close items
- Perform weekly payment reconciliations
- Ensure GL and Subledger reconciliation is done monthly
- Perform final review of all T&E reports to ensure conformity with the T&E policy when needed
- Ensure all disbursements are processed completely and promptly using bank payment portals
- Support reconciliation and analysis of vendor and employee AP sub-ledgers
- Monitor dedicated AP e-mailboxes to make sure all emails are answered promptly
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
- Bring to the attention of management any payment request that may have a questionable Institutional purpose or appears to be suspect or fraudulent
- Assist Accounting and Planning with any documentation needed for reporting, tax filings and audits
- Processing transactions and performing AP duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts in multi currency environment
- Have a strong understanding of accounting and general ledger coding
- Other duties as assigned by management
