Requirements
  • Associate degree in accounting
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • English language skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with large ERP system such as Netsuite
  • Customer service oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Experience with Procure to Pay systems
Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain vendor master records
  • Ensure that invoices are approved in accordance with company policy
  • Enter invoices into Netsuite and ensure that invoices are correctly coded using Company's chart of accounts and department listing
  • Perform Month end close items
  • Perform weekly payment reconciliations
  • Ensure GL and Subledger reconciliation is done monthly
  • Perform final review of all T&E reports to ensure conformity with the T&E policy when needed
  • Ensure all disbursements are processed completely and promptly using bank payment portals
  • Support reconciliation and analysis of vendor and employee AP sub-ledgers
  • Monitor dedicated AP e-mailboxes to make sure all emails are answered promptly
  • Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
  • Bring to the attention of management any payment request that may have a questionable Institutional purpose or appears to be suspect or fraudulent
  • Assist Accounting and Planning with any documentation needed for reporting, tax filings and audits
  • Processing transactions and performing AP duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts in multi currency environment
  • Have a strong understanding of accounting and general ledger coding
  • Other duties as assigned by management
