- The candidate should have familiarity with the evolving legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to digital assets, cryptocurrencies, blockchain products, derivative products, platforms, and services, including federal securities and commodities laws, state laws and regulations, and foreign laws. The candidate should also have expertise in applying those requirements to clients or regulated entities, as applicable
- In addition to providing advice and support on legal and regulatory matters relating specifically to digital assets, cryptocurrency, and blockchain, the candidate would also function within the Legal Department as a generalist, including by working with internal company clients to draft regulatory filings required to achieve client objectives, providing guidance to clients with respect to applicable legal requirements and company policies that are overseen by the Legal Department, drafting legal documents, assisting and advising with respect to investigations and litigation matters, and other responsibilities
- General familiarity with or prior experience with federal securities and anti-money laundering laws and regulations is a plus
