About the Role
We’re hiring a Software Engineer I to join our engineering team. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build production software, learn from experienced teammates, and develop strong engineering fundamentals in a collaborative environment.
In this role, you’ll work with engineers and cross-functional partners to design, build, test, and improve features that support our platforms. You’ll contribute to real product work from the beginning, while receiving guidance, feedback, and mentorship as you grow.
What You’ll Do
Build and ship product features with support from teammates
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Collaborate with engineering, product, and design partners to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback thoughtfully
Debug issues, investigate root causes, and help improve system reliability
Learn internal tools, systems, and engineering practices
Contribute to team discussions about architecture, quality, and development process
Grow your technical skills while working on meaningful healthcare technology
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience writing code in one or more languages such as [Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.]
Familiarity with core software engineering concepts such as data structures, debugging, testing, and version control
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
A willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow through feedback
Interest in building reliable technology for a mission-driven environment
Nice to Have
These are helpful, but not required:
Internship, co-op, academic project, or personal project experience building software
Exposure to web application development, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
Familiarity with tools such as [Git, SQL, Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP, React, .NET, etc.]
Interest in healthcare technology, regulated environments, or reliability-focused systems

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: $25 to $35 per hour
Benefits may include:
Paid Time Off: 120 hours annually for full-time employees, 80 hours for part-time employees
