Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources management/supervisory role (hospitality experience preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, labor relations, and HR compliance best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coach, counsel, and influence others
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all HR matters
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Director of Human Resources to implement and achieve hotel HR goals in alignment with the business plan
  • Coordinate and deliver onboarding programs, including Orientation, Make It Right Service Training, and system/compliance training for new hires and managers
  • Develop and deliver Hilton branded and Marcus training initiatives, compliance training, and publish learning calendars to support continuous growth
  • Guide managers through employee relations, labor relations processes, and performance management, ensuring fair and consistent application of corrective action
  • Assist with investigations, grievance resolution, and maintaining strong relationships with local labor union
  • Manage benefits administration, leave of absence programs, workers’ compensation, OSHA compliance, and unemployment claims
  • Lead associate recognition and engagement programs, including People Pleaser of the Month/Year, Manager of the Quarter, and Associate Appreciation Month
  • Organize and lead community involvement initiatives, strengthening the hotel’s presence in Milwaukee
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR and personnel records, process payroll adjustments, PTO payouts, and terminations
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Director of HR
