Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, statistics, operations, engineering, supply chain, or fashion is required.
  • One to three years of experience in allocation and business analytics is required.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
  • A continuous improvement mindset is required.
  • The ability to work with a diverse team to drive results is required.
  • Problem-solving skills, including proactively recommending solutions to stakeholders and making decisions with limited information, are required.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure inventory levels are optimally planned and executed by channel, with emphasis on store and size, to maximize sales, margin, and inventory productivity.
  • Develop and execute an allocation strategy aligned with the merchant vision and financial plan for assigned product categories.
  • Partner with Merchandise Planning, Merchandising, distribution center and store operations, Location Planning, and the Stores Field Organization.
  • Perform business analysis supporting location-level strategies across stores, tiers, regions, and climate opportunities.
  • Manage inventory for long-lifecycle replenishment programs in selected brands, including conceptualizing, building, and buying to model stock inventory and managing inventory to a sales and receipt plan.
  • Lead the review of allocation strategies for each floor set.
  • Provide size analysis and recommendations for future buys and allocation strategies, and own pre-season size-profiling reviews.
  • Collaborate with the Merchant and Merchandise Planner to formulate future business strategies.
  • Roll up and publish hindsight information for each business cycle, identifying opportunities to improve sales and margin.
  • Provide analytics supporting internal business partners in the Home Office and Field Organization.
  • Proactively seek mentoring and training opportunities that facilitate personal development.

KnitWell Group has appointed Jessica Sibley, CEO of TIME, to its board of directors. Sibley brings over two decades of experience in brand transformation and growth across global media organisations. Sarah Evans named chief human resources officer at KnitWell Group

Evans will lead human resources across KnitWell's portfolio, which includes Ann Taylor, Chico's, Lane Bryant, LOFT and Talbots, whilst overseeing corporate communications, belonging and philanthropy. Evans brings extensive experience from large, multi-channel businesses. Most recently, she served as chief human resources officer at Ocean Spray, leading global human resources and corporate communications.
