Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight of New Product Introduction, Life Cycle Management changes, and major capital expenditure projects for the Formulation and Aseptic Filling areas in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Manage the daily work of direct reports responsible for Manufacturing Projects.
  • Drive process efficiencies through projects introduced to operations.
  • Establish priorities and deliverables for the team in line with organizational goals and business objectives.
  • Plan and organize project assignments and resourcing for projects of varying complexity.
  • Translate complex data into actionable information.
  • Coordinate activities across business units and exercise independent decision-making.
  • Identify process gaps and introduce innovative solutions to improve operating efficiencies.
  • Interface with management on significant matters.
  • Monitor resources and training models to ensure appropriate resource and staff management for project targets.
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships within the team and with other departments.
  • Coach and develop a team of Operations Leads.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure the team is engaged and aligned with site safety initiatives.
  • Deliver project plans in accordance with agreed manufacturing and project requirements.
  • Communicate relevant information to peers, manufacturing operators, cross-functional departments, and senior management.
  • Act as a delegate for the Senior Manager Manufacturing as required.
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement solutions for process improvement opportunities.
  • Provide expertise and support for quality system investigations, including timely assessment of events and appropriate actions to protect product quality and patient safety.
  • Contribute to and assist with corporate, Food and Drug Administration, Health Products Regulatory Authority, and other regulatory-body audits.

Amgen and AstraZeneca lung cancer drug combo meets survival goal in phase III study
