Requirements
  • Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering
  • Experience in structural design, analysis, and development of earthworks projects in different soil types
  • Experience with building construction methods, building systems, and cost implications
  • Experience with finite element analysis software for static and dynamic analysis (e.g., ANSYS, STRUDL, STAAD, SAP2000, MathCad, or SAFE)
  • Familiarity with seismic isolation and construction in permafrost preferred
Responsibilities
  • Design structural foundations and perform analyses of the interface between the foundation and the structure
  • Design berms, slope retention, engineering backfill, and other earthwork projects
  • Develop site investigations and site preparations strategies
  • Support EPC and A&E relationships
  • Collaborate with operations team and site contractors
  • Document work using modern tools and techniques
