Requirements
  • Current Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for Vermont licensure for RN candidates.
  • Current Vermont Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or eligibility for Vermont licensure for LPN candidates.
Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to residents living with memory loss and cognitive impairment.
  • Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Support resident safety, comfort, and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with nursing assistants, providers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Communicate effectively with families and care team members.
  • Promote a calm, supportive, resident-centered environment.
  • Advocate for residents while maintaining dignity and respect in every interaction.

  • Experience in memory care, long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, geriatrics, or acute care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
