Unlike many private hospitals, Parkland serves as the primary teaching facility for UT Southwestern Medical Center and maintains a heavy focus on community outreach and school-based healthcare. The organization’s goal is to provide accessible medical care and health education to patients and their families throughout the North Texas region.
