We are seeking a motivated and professional Security Officer to join our team on an exciting new contract based in Collie
This role is primarily responsible for maintaining a strong security presence while remaining alert, proactive, and focused at all times.
You will become part of an enthusiastic, committed, and customer-focused team, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist tenants and members of the public in a professional manner
- Maintain vigilance and monitor activities to support asset protection
- Conduct regular foot patrols across the premises, including:
- Internal building patrols (including high-level areas)
- External perimeter patrols
- Monitor CCTV systems and radio communication networks
- Respond professionally, courteously, and promptly to all enquiries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and building management
- Complete accurate and timely incident reports
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures
Skills and Experience
- Certificate II in Security Operations and a valid WA Security Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience in corporate or commercial building security
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain alert and respond effectively under pressure
- Full WA Driver’s Licence
Desirable (Advantageous) Qualifications
- Drug & Alcohol (D&A) Testing qualification
- Certificate II in Medical Response
- Advanced First Aid certification
